Free Your Spirit Sing Your Soul > Workshops
Using sound and rhythm we create a space for healing and joy. In our sacred circle we sing mantras, chants and songs from various cultures, and also create our own. We start with a short meditation to create the sacred circle. Then we launch into something lively, like a Native American chant where we can move and ground ourselves, then maybe a few songs affirming ourselves. The middle part of the session is usually a long meditative chant or we tone the sounds of the Chakras, both of which lead to silence so that the sound vibrations can do their job of cleansing and balancing. We finish with a song that sends out love, then close the Circle and have a cup of tea and a chat! I often read something from the Celestial Timings for that day, which we can focus on in our music.
